I had the privilege of meeting Ed Williams at a Seminary Extension Class many years ago. He impressed me with his heart for the Lord as a young man. Now he is the pastor of Green Acres Baptist Church near Miami. This church once was in Picher, OK before the EPA required the town to be shut down. Lead mining in the area made the buildings in danger of collapse, and contaminated the soil and the water. But this congregation did not give up!  They moved, built a new building, and kept on serving the Lord! Now over 100 years old, the church is alive and well. I can’t wait to see them! I believe they will have as many stories to share of God’s faithfulness as I do!
