I am thrilled to be a part of another Bible study retreat for a group of friends! It excites me to watch more people consider taking part of their vacation to study the word of God together! It’s the perfect mix – to relax, play, pray and study. I always go home refreshed and renewed.

For example, a group of women from Liberal, KS will soon travel to a cabin to enjoy a retreat. We will have plenty of time to enjoy God’s wondrous creation, relax and laugh until our sides ache. Not to mention the good food we’ll share! But our main focus is on the Word of God. We will study “Embracing Change.” How did the slaves leaving Egypt embrace a new life of freedom? What did Anna do when her life changed? We will look at these Bible characters, and many more, as we consider what God would like to teach us about facing change in our lives.

I CAN invite you to do the same thing! Gather a few friends, and plan a getaway. Give your body and soul a chance to retreat and refresh.
