I look forward every year to the cooler temperatures of fall. It’s time for track meets and football games, hot chocolate and apple cider. But it’s also almost time for the harvest of pumpkins and winter squash – and time to clean out the flower beds, preparing them for their upcoming winter rest. We’re always preparing for the next season, aren’t we?
In our sermon series on Peter, we will study Peter’s next season of faith – after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Will he have the courage to follow more faithfully in adversity than he did during Jesus’ trial and crucifixion? What will God require of him in the future?
